In September 2019, Gene Hess and her staff joined Daniel Wilder and his firm, Wilder Accounting. Gene and the folks at Hess will continue to work in the Baldwin Park office: same trusted staff, same services, same fees, and even the same phone number. The only small change for Hess clients is Gene’s email address.

A letter from Hess Accounting was mailed to clients on September 29, 2019. In this letter, Gene stated that for personal reasons, instead of carrying the burdens of being “sole practitioner” of a busy firm, she would rather focus only on the needs of her clients. She began looking for another firm to acquire her own. One that would continue to offer clients the same level of service they’ve come to know for the past 10, 20, or even 40+ years.

After an extensive search looking for a firm that shares our dedication to customer care, professionalism and has the same moral compass, we were blessed to find such a firm in Wilder Accounting CPA’s who, actually, exceeded our hopes. Interestingly, both of our firms were founded in 1980 and have highly complementary practice strengths and philosophies in staff and client culture.

In today’s world of constantly changing tax regulations, software requirements, and IRS guidelines, finding the right firm was the driving force in my selection process. To ensure that you continue to receive the quality of work we’ve taken pride in delivering for decades, and to now elevate even further the quality of services you’re accustomed to, makes me very happy.

Wilder Accounting CPA’s has been serving Central Florida for the past 40 years and was originally founded by Jack Wilder CPA. Several years ago, Jack’s son, Daniel Wilder CPA, took over the firm, leading the practice and has experienced continued growth year after year.
It is their intention, and mine, to continue the tradition of excellent service, deep expertise, and an environment our clients and associates want to be a part of.

This acquisition will enable Dan and I to provide to you many new services and areas of expertise. We look forward to discussing those in more depth with you. For us, it will always be about you, our customer. We assure you that pricing, product and support will remain unchanged, and we intend to incorporate the best features of both companies. We are extremely proud of this team of capable accounting professionals, the quality of our work, and the services provided. You can expect the same focus, exceptional service and fee structure you have come to know. Be assured that you will be:

• Working with the same individuals, in the firm, as you have in the past. The Baldwin Park location will still have the same staff you are used to seeing.
• Our fee structure will not change.
  The services we have provided you in the past will continue to be offered.
• We will continue to operate from our current offices.
